These services include all contractual mining related activities, civil and structural engineering consulting services, civil management, while maintaining a leading edge approach focused on improvement, incorporation, innovation and operational excellence.
SMT is based in south africa and sub divisions across africa. Building on the established and core capability of the smt assembly of companies in the mining sector, is ideally situated to provide the necessary skills, training and resources to plan, control and complete various construction, mining and engineering projects.
An incorporated approach is employed by offering a fully wide-ranging and safe service, in any combination of plan, implementation and/or project management depending on the project, range of work or the specific needs of the an assortment of clients in civil construction and mining related projects in the mining sectors, the knowledge of SMT is combined with conventional civil engineering construction and project management practices, while maintaining work procedures and safety and health aspects as stipulated by the mining industry and legislation.
The key workforce are all from a construction, civil establishment and mining environment in both the mining and private sectors and are all registered with the relevant corporate bodies as stipulated by the task force. The implementation of the employment equity and black empowerment procedures are according to legislation and the predetermined
industry principles.
The latest technology and innovative dealings are utilized in order to provide the professional services and are invented electronically.
